This stunning 19.4” diameter, 1/2” thick round of plywood, represents the Water element—grace, resilience, and the quiet strength found in life’s constant movement. The fourth and final piece in my Elemental Series.

As I finished it and was filming its final reveal, a gentle breeze unexpectedly knocked it over. Thankfully, the damage was repairable, but after pouring so much of myself into it, seeing it fall was heartbreaking.

As I repaired it, I realized how fitting that moment was. Water doesn’t resist every obstacle—it adapts. It flows around them, reshapes itself, and continues forward.

This painting became a reminder that life’s unexpected moments don’t diminish what we’ve created—they become part of the journey.

Now, every time I look at it, I’m transported into the peaceful ocean world I imagined discovering new details each time I pause to look.
